Hydrangea macrophylla Hamburg, also known as Mophead Hydrangea, flushes gorgeous grapefruit-size flowers that form full pom-poms of densely packed with deep rose to purplish-blue florets, depending on the soil pH with a contrasting blue center, over big, waxy, medium to dark green leaves. Blooming from early to late summer, its flowers change to the most incredible wine-red color in the fall, extending the season of interest of this mophead hydrangea. The 12-14" plant is shipped in 6" nursery pot.
