Sade may be grown from seed sown early indoors and transplanted outside after frost or sown directly outdoors. Sow sage seeds indoors 10-12 weeks before the last frost. Barely press the seeds into the soil. Keep the soil evenly moist at 70 degrees F. As soon as sage seedlings emerge, provide plenty of light on a sunny windowsill or under grow lights. Transplant the sage seedlings when they have at least 2 pairs of true leaves. Direct sow sage seeds outdoors after all danger of frost in full sun in a well-drained but moisture-retentive soil. Barely cover with fine soil, keep evenly moist.Sage care tips
Remove spent Sage flower spikes to help extend the bloom period. If Sage plants flop, consider cutting them back to the basal foliage.
