  • Facts about Sedum

    Stonecrops. Low–growing sedum spreads along the ground or cascading down a pot, reaching only a few inches in height. Upright sedum tends to form tall, upright clumps that produce a tight mass of tiny rosettes or flowers.
  • How to care for Sedum

    Sedum Soil Type: Make sure it drains well. DIY mix: 6 parts pumice or perlite, 2 parts compost or potting mix and 2 parts coarse-grained sand or granite grit. OR use store soil mixes: 1 part bagged cactus mix and 1 part potting mix. Watering Sedum: Very low. Does not like wet feet. Sedum Light Preference: Full to Partial Sun, Bright Indoor Light.
  • Sedum care tips

    After flowering, cut back the sedum to maintain the plant shape or contain it in one area. Remember to divide your sedum plant in the spring or fall to control its spread.
